NOIDA: UP govt has approved a second link road between Greater Noida and Faridabad via Manjhawali bridge over the Yamuna to cut travel time between the two cities to just 30 minutes. With the 56-km Faridabad-Noida-Ghaziabad (FNG) Expressway still under construction-only 50% of the 23km expressway that will pass through Noida is currently ready-commuters currently take nearly two hours to travel through congested Delhi and Noida areas to reach Faridabad.
The new link road, a four-lane corridor off Yamuna Expressway and Eastern Peripheral Expressway, is expected to serve as a crucial link for passengers travelling from Haryana, once flight operations begin from the Noida airport. It is also expected to decongest the Kalindi Kunj flyover and Noida Expressway, a crucial link between Haryana, Delhi and Noida.
